The head of state of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, paid a visit to the former province of Katanga, yesterday, October 4, 2023 Félix and was preceded by the Prime Minister Mr. Sama Lukonde.
According to sources, President Tshisekedi , was accompanied by the Acting Governor of Lualaba County, Fifi Masuka, and other dignitaries including Ministers.
When Félix Tshisekedi arrived, he took the opportunity to ask the youth to support the state forces (FARDC) and avoid divisions among the in order to fight M23.
“Be united and fight against our Enemy M23”. President Tshisekedi addresses the youth of the former Kanga province,
The President of the DRC, then promised the people that he will come back in the month of November (11) and explain to them about his vision , if they support him and elect him to lead this country for the second term.
While President Tshisekedi is mobilizing other Congolese against M23, this group says that it is an ideology based on the rejection of The Kinyarwanda Speaking Congolese who decided to take up arms to defend their rights.
M23 also says that this issue ,should be resolved through dialogue instead of prioritizing war because they are also citizens who need to be given their rights as well as other Congolese.
