On this February 6, 2023 in the city of Goma, Violence protests is taking place aimed at condemning the M23 group that started to take over some parts of the Masisi Territory.
In this protest, the Congolese Tutsi including the Banyamulenges, are being attacked by the Protesters , accusing them of having close relationship with the M23 Movement.
According to our eyewitness in the city of Goma, all the Congolese Tutsi are now hiding in their houses and are afraid to go out so as not to be killed by the Protesters.
The Banyamulenge temple that was located at Nyabushongo area in Goma city ,was destroyed and all the materials inside were looted and destroyed.
So far, the shops and activities of Congolese Tutsi in the city of Goma have been also looted and destroyed by the Protesters who are claiming to be patriotics.
Now , Tutsi are not comfortable in the city of Goma and it is believed that based on Protesters violence, the Tutsi can be subjected to Genocide at any time.
