Gen.Omega and Lt.Col Giyome are suspected to be behind the death of the late Ruvugayimikore Protogene (Ruhinda) who was the Commander of the CRAP Unit responsible for special military operations in the FDLR.
Rwandatribune news source in the Shove area says that yesterday afternoon, near Col. Ruhinda’s headquarters, they heard a heavy explosion.
While our source was trying to find out what happened, the FDLR CRAP soldiers came and passed a wounded person who was bleeding profusely in the area of Umwembe in Muja in the Bukumu village, Nyiragongo District where the person was taken to the CBK hospital in Goma.
That person came to be known as Col. Ruvugayimikore (Ruhinda) who was blown up by a bomb that was hiden in the bed he was sleeping in.
One of the doctors working at CBK hospital in Goma told Rwandatribune about the death of Col. Ruhinda, which came at four o’clock at night.
This information was confirmed by one of his family members who lives in Goma city who talked to Rwandatribune.
One of the political analysts said that the death of Col. Ruhinda happened to be the backbone of the FDLR group, especially because he is a strong fighter of this FDLR group.
Analysts also say that there has been a bad atmosphere between Gen.Omega and Col.Ruhinda for many days, where Gen.Omega accused Col.Ruhinda of always planning to overthrow him.
Rwandatribune wanted to know what the FDLR side is saying about the death of Col.Ruhinda and we called FOCA Spokesperson Col.Sacramento did not respond ,when we called Cure Ngoma the FDLR Spokesperson also did not respond, until we wrote this story.
