The fierce fighting between the M23 rebel group and the Congolese army( FARDC), Burundian , FDLR and Wazalendo forces on the Kicwa mountain and Kirolirwe last night , left more than 50 FARDC and Burundian soldiers lost their Lives.
The fighting started around 10:00 in the morning and ended in the evening where more than 50 FARDC and Burundian sordiers ,lost their lives including one of the Burundian officer with rank of capitain who was among those killed by M23 in the fighting.
In addition to these FARDC and Burundian soldiers who died in the battle, there are also those who were Captured and wounded by M23 others in the fighting, and some of them were taken to the M23 center for treatment.
