Ugandans remain skeptical of the role assigned to the son of Ugandan President Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba after he continues to be seen as a man who is too emotional, unworthy of a soldier with similar responsibilities.

Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is the Commander-in-Chief of the Ugandan Army (UPDF Army Commander), a position he has held since becoming the Commander-in-Chief of the Special Forces Commander. In addition, Gen Kainerugaba will serve as President Museveni’s Special Adviser to the Security Council.

The man, who is the son of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, tweeted: We are a civilian army so no one can win a military like ours. Long live Operation Shujaa. ”

Shujaa Operation Gen Muhoozi Spoken about started since November 30, Ugandan troops have been hunting down ADF fighters on the territory of the Democratic Republic of Congo in collaboration with the country’s forces(FARDC).

Has Uganda forgotten?

Various people who are already familiar with the international operations of the Ugandan army say that Uganda is ignoring the activities of its troops, including the military operations in Kisangani in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Ugly rape of women and children by Ugandan troops in Somalia (AMISOM), Killings of senior and capable soldiers accused of not supporting President Museveni’s “Muhoozi Project” plan aimed at appointing his son Kainerugaba as his successor, Bombing Ugandans as quick way of deploying troops to eastern DR Congo.

The Battle of Kisangana an unforgettable mockery of the UPDF!

At the outbreak of the so-called Second Congo War, the Ugandan army took part but the Rwandan army quickly took control of various cities in Eastern and South-Eastern Congo including Kisangani City and Bangoka Airport 12 kilometers away, in their suburbs.

The Ugandan army has been focusing on the richest areas in the Northeast of the DRC. At the time of the ceasefire, the Ugandan army had no control over the city. Ugandan military leaders have urged Rwanda to respect Kisangani as it also has other cities such as Goma, Bukavu, Kindu, Uvira and others. Rwandan military leaders reject it.

The response was not well received by Ugandan military officials. At a meeting in Goma, which was attended by Ugandan Representative Professor Julius Nyerere, Kahinda Otafiire, who was in charge of the Ugandan delegation during the talks, told the Rwandan delegation, “Give us Kisangani or we will miss it.”

According to Colonel Akhram Hossein, a member of the UN General Assembly, in the early hours of August 5, 2000, about 7,000 Ugandan troops carrying heavy weapons came to Rwanda’s surprise.

Since its inception, the Rwandan Armed Forces has been firing indiscriminately on the Ugandan army, burning UPDF Tanks and leaving, and the Ugandan army has lost count of its estimated 2000 soldiers.

During the fighting, the Ugandan army tried to cross the bridge over the Tshopo River separating the South Kisangani from the Rwandan and Northern from the Ugandan army, but the Rwandan army became a crossroads.

On the day of the standoff, Gen James Kazini, who was in command of the Ugandan Army in Kisangani, first called Col Karenzi Karake [now Rtd Lieutenant General], on a ship urging him to stop the fighting, and for the Ugandan Army to retreat more than ten kilometers outside Kisangani.

It has been 20 years since the Kisangani war ended. Museveni, and other member of the Ugandan family, has always been a victim of this unprovoked war.

The fact that Museveni and the Ugandans have not recovered from Kisangani’s injury was reiterated by President Kagame in March 2019, in an interview with Jeune Afrique. At the time, he was asked if it was possible that Museveni had not yet received the victory over the Rwandan Armed Forces in Kisangani.

Commenting on the Kisangani war, President Kagame said: “We have defeated them for the third time. But there is no doubt about it. They always have the will to control Rwanda, and to humble us. “

President Kagame has said he respects Museveni as President of Uganda but is “not the President of Rwanda at all.”We don’t like people who give us instructions, no matter where they come from, you know that. ”

The President went on to say that even if Rwanda is a small country, but mentally and politically it is a landlocked country. He added that there was no need for a mediator to resolve the Rwandan-Ugandan conflict but that it was all in Museveni’s hands.

There are also reports that Uganda has chosen to help- anti Rwandan government militiamen group mostly operating in Eastern DRC like RNC(P5), FDLR and RUD-Urunana among others .

The AMISOM mission has usually been difficult for the Ugandan army, where all its major rivals have tried to replace it with a failed mission. This led to Gen Katungi Keth being replaced by Don Nabasa during a ceremony chaired by Maj Gen  Sam Okiding, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ugandan Army.

Bombing of civilians in search of a faster route to DR Congo!

Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence; Boss ,Maj Gen Abel Kandiho

According to sources close to the NRM, the Ugandan government, through the CMI Military Intelligence Agency, has been leading the plot to launch bombings in various parts of the country, especially in the capital Kampala as right way of sending troops to eastern DR Congo.

The UPDF’s spy operation was aimed at expediting the deployment of troops to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which is why all the activities are being carried out under the name of the ADF, which is already operating in eastern Congo, as a means to find a quick route to the country.
