The Rwandan rebel group known as FDLR operating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, was again accused of stealing more than 100 cows in Kilolirwe and Bwiza areas on September 12, 2023. the cows are said to have been slaughtered on the orders of Lt Gen Byiringiro. the current president of this rebel group.
These cows were stolen by the people on the instructions given by these Rwandan rebels, and it is said that those who executed this crime include FDLR fighters such as Tuyisenge, Kabayiza .
In a statement posted on Twitter by one of the Congolese called Maisha RDC, he said that all these cows were stolen from Kilolirwe and Masisi areas in North Kivu.
This journalist ,says that these cows are stolen from Congolese Tutsis in order to destroy or bring down the economy of Kinyarwanda-speaking Congolese, especially the Tutsis.
The information that this congolese journalist continued to post on Twitter ,show that the Burundian army who has control of those areas after M23 agreed to retreat, continue to watch the people being abused while these forces were brought to rescue them.
Until now, the Tutsi Congolese in the eastern part of the DRC,are asking the President FelixTshisekedi regime and human rights organizations, to help them and bring to justice those who are involved in these acts of violence.
