Alarming humanitarian situation of the displaced persons of the Kasenyi Adventist site. The displaced persons of this Kasenyi Adventist site do not benefit from any assistance.
War-displaced persons from the Nyiragongo site are starving. A situation that accentuates their vulnerability and pushes them into the streets to beg.
These citizens, fleeing the fighting taking place in the east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo ,receive neither food nor blankets nor clothes, in short no humanitarian assistance.
The alert is from the president of the Adventist site Kasenyi, who evokes a very alarming humanitarian situation.
The manager of the site, launches an SOS and pleads with benefactors and charitable souls for help for these miserable people. The camp is located not far from the city of Goma, capital of North Kivu in eastern DRC.
The displaced persons in this site, are those who have fled the long-standing fighting between the M23 rebels and the FARDC (State Army )in collaboration with the armed groups such as the FDLR, Nyatura and Mai Mai.
